Never. As much as I strongly disagree with marijuana prohibition, I'll respect the law while it still exists.

Do you obey the speed limit, too?
Generally, yes. But, in any case, going a few mph over the speed limit is nowhere near as bad of a 'breach of law' as smoking marijuana is, so that's not a very good analogy.

Well that depends on the jurisdiction you do it in.

I don't live in CO, WA, AK, OR, or DC (legal marijuana states). I'm commenting on the laws in my own area, not laws in some other part of the country.

I mean, I don't know where in Minnesota you live, but I doubt the punishment for smoking a joint in public in say Minneapolis is much more severe than speeding way over the limit. Pretty sure you just get a ticket. Unless the cop you're dealing with is an asshole, of course.

Also while smoking marijuana may be a bigger "breach of law", I think speeding is a bigger "breach of the social contract", as it's considerably more of an anti-social behavior.

I was 18. I enjoyed it maybe a little too much.

Nowadays I rarely indulge, although, were it legal, it would probably become a thing I did at nights on weekends. Certainly healthier than my current habit of downing a bottle of wine twice a week.

It's just "yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh". Have you listened to that song? It's great.

I'm an old man who has no idea of what you're talking about

The relevant bit is at 7:45.

Oh, I see, you thought I was making a CSI joke.

"yeaaaah" + sunglasses = CSI joke. It cannot be otherwise.

I'm confused. Is this because a different Who song is the intro music for CSI?

The meme originates from CSI Miami. Basically, every episode would end with the protagonist, Horatio Caine, uttering some ridiculous one-liner, then putting on his sunglasses like this:

Then, it cuts to the end credits, which plays the song "Don't get fooled again" (ironically, the worst CSI show got the best Who song) at the point it says a loud "YEEEEEEAAAAAH".

Oh. I never watched the Miami spinoff. Then I get it.

You didn't lose much. While I'm not even a big fan of the original CSI, it was at least pretty creative and had a few colorful characters. The two spinoffs were soul-crushingly boring.

I believe I was 14 or 15. I'm not a regular consumer; only smoke it on special occasions. I can't remember right know when I did it last time.

Very close match between this forum's never smoked weed percentage and its never had sex percentage...

Hm... but what does it mean??

Not much.  Our Dear Friend never tried weed but he's had more sex than 90% of the impecunious and humpbacked prudes here.

you know we joke about marijuana and dieing and such...

but, honest to god, the closest I've ever felt to dieing was when I was high.

I legitimately thought I was about to be murdered at the time, but luckily I was not.
Yep, this happened to me when I was 15. Definitely one of the worst experiences of my life at that point.
