POLITICAL POSITION: Right-Wing

POLITICAL PROGRAM:
1) Delegate most federal responsibilities to the states.
2) Eliminate most government agencies.
3) Congress may only meet 4 times each year unless there is a national emergency.
4) Repeal the 16th Amendment
5) Reduce government spending to levels that can be supported by light tariffs.
6) Follow an economic policy of Deregulation.
7) Abolish the Federal Reserve.
Institute a Gold Standard.
9) Amend the Constitution to define life as starting at conception.
10) End the Federal War on Drugs.
11) Protect Second Amendment rights.
12) Repeal the PATRIOT Act.
13) End the NSA's surveillance power over citizens.
14) War may only be fought for the defense of the nation.
15) All foreign aid must be phased out over a 5 year period
16) All US military personnel must be evacuated from foreign countries.
17) Sanctions against Iran and Cuba must be immediately lifted.
18) The United States must leave the United Nations.
19) The United States must seek to improve relations with Russia.
20) The United States must leave NAFTA and CAFTA
21) The United Liberty Party supports peace talks between Israel and Palestine.

Lot of good ideas. What about Abolishing the 17th amendment

Tbh, I haven't given the 17th Amendment a whole lot of thought.  On one hand it would increase the power of states while on the other hand people like Rand Paul would never have made it to the Senate.

Much of your alt party platform is similar to my American Conservative Union/American Liberal parties from a couple of my old attempts at timelines.
