Former Labour Secretary of Labour 1993-1997, author of Aftershock and stars in his Documentary Inequality for all. Brilliant man and economist

A bit of a blowhard, but otherwise on the right track.

He tends to be very one-note.

That said, this country would definitely be better off if it were him and Krugman people went to, instead of Third Way vultures and supply-side economists.

I always wonder what would have happened if he stayed in politics and had chance to make more of an impact on public policy.

It's too bad that Reich didn't end up being Governor of Massachusetts in 2002. Would've been interesting.

Wonder how he would have done against Mitt?

Definite Freedom Fighter, I wouldn't have minded seeing him run for president in which case they'd have to restore Hail to the chief to its original purpose.

I don't think much of his role in the decline of the Bronx. Don't really know anything else about him. Didn't vote in the poll.

Typical liberal economist. Peerless examination of sociological nuance. Unrepentant, ham-fisted execution of initiatives.

What role did he play if you don't mind my asking?

He's tiny. So far outside of the statistical averages that a lookalike is unlikely.

He advocated for the construction of a freeway through the Bronx, which destroyed many old buildings and forced out long-time inhabitants. I read about it a long time ago, so I don't remember too much of the details.
