Oh many posters and I are pretty close, too many to name really (mostly centrist, but more to the left on social issues, and to the right on economic ones, but on both not all that far from the middle on balance). As to the most different, it would be the poster who is a militant America First protectionist socialist, social conservative, greenie (a bonus point would be to favoring liquidating Israel, as part of a full court press to please Putin or something). Who might that be?  Smiley

Hmm, this is pretty different than 1.5 years ago, I think. Really difficult. The close ones aren't that close to me.

To the guillotine to you then (a FF form of execution per a poll of the punks on this site for some reason - I guess they just have a decapitation fetish)! Tongue

Most Similar (no one is actually a perfect representation of my beliefs: RFayette, Texas Conservative, Young Conservative, Sunrise to some extent

Least Similar: Scarlet, Tony, Scott, honestly most posters here:

Most Similar D: Southern Gothic

Least Similar R: On one end, posters like RINOTom and Vosem, and, on another end pro-choice, isolationist, populists like EHarding.  I'm actually pretty supportive of globalization (but not international law agencies) for someone on the far-right.

Is there any other poster on Atlas who would have positive economic, social, cultural, and foreign policy scores on this quiz?: http://www.gotoquiz.com/politics/political-spectrum-quiz.html

Yeah I was surprised that something so barbaric was rated so highly.

I guess I should add Santander and RFayette to my list of ideological opposites.

Crumpets seems quite similar to me.  Maxwell maybe, who was clearly to my right in the past.

Most similar - omegascarlet, TDAS04, Virginia

Least similar - Extreme Republican, Thomas from NJ, Eharding

Heh.

No idea who's close to me ideologically; part of the problem is I don't have a total sense of my own ideology. I guess out of all posters' policy programs, I would trust DC al Fine the most.

TedBessell, ElectionsGuy, Enduro, Jbrase, and generally dfwlibertylover are very close to me ideologically.

As for least, maybe Winfield, Turkisblau, and Intell? Most of the communitarian people I can think of actually agree with me on foreign policy (SG, etc.). Unless someone is a socially conservative yet somehow pro-choice socialist hawk, I think I can find some common ground with everyone. Tongue

I have little bits of many things in my ideology. I am probably the least like ExtremeRepublican or FreedomHawk? Not really sure at all.

Closest: Me and Devout centrist are strikingly similar in outlook, it seems. The similarity in outlook and sublties of rhetoric seems to indicate that even our ecomomic policies, while significantly different, stem from very similar (though not identical) places. Mizzoulen seems similar in that regard. While they don't seem to have the incredibly similar outlook, Peebs and One_J fit pretty well with me,(they have similar alignment in the current partisan environment, and their "deeper" outlook isn't different enough to make it ridiculous to describe us as similar(eg Aveross, Nathan)).
Goldwater is the closest libertarian,

Furthest: LD Smith, Intell, SG, some of the bernie hacks(jfern, chickenhawk), Antonio(on the left)

David, er, klartext, englishpete, rfayette(on the right)

Shadows, Mclanzine, (other)

May have missed a few.

Most like: not sure. I don't know many people who are strongly conservative economically, don't care much about social issues except people's right not to participate in things that violate their religious beliefs, and want our immigration laws enforced along with operational control of the border and mandatory E-Verify.

Most different: Antonio V openly supports Tall Poppy Syndrome, and I'm a staunch individualist, so him.
