You know the deal, 7 days.

I wouldn't (I/O). My main issue is drug reform, and the fact that she supports legalized theft makes her unacceptable to me.

Yes, R. She seems ethical enough and almost anything that gets Holder out of the job is okay with me.

I would filibuster the vote so that we can keep Eric Holder, the best AG of my lifetime, in office for another two years against his will.

Yes (D)! She's qualified, and I've got to commend her recent actions in the Eric Garner case, against Michael Grimm, and against ISIS. That and the GOP's joke procrastination on this only makes me happier to vote yes.

Yes, but the reality is the "procrastination" is a delaying tactic, that McConnell will do right through 2016, with Lynch and any other nominee Obama submits.

The worst part is if Hillary (or any other Democrat) wins in November and we have a GOP Senate, we almost certainly will have filibusters on the entire cabinet/immediate impeachment proceedings.

That's the thing I don't understand about Republicans holding up the vote -you'd think they would be so eager to see AG Eric Holder off that, sooner or later, they would confirm Loretta Lynch as his successor.   The longer this goes on, the longer Eric Holder is going to have to stay in the Justice Department.  Is that what they really want?  One wonders....

Right now the Republicans are holding up the confirmation until the Democrats let a anti-human trafficking bill go through that contains the Hyde amendment (no funds for abortion).  So I support them in that.  I have a lot of problems with Holder, but he also has some bright spots I haven't seen with Lynch.

Yes (D), probably the best choice we can get and it's already very close.

Yes (D) to avoid an even more unnecessarily drawn out process.

No; I liked her at first, but she shot herself in the foot during the hearings.

Yes. This too. As someone who is pro-choice but is against funds for abortion, the GOP is right on this for the wrong reasons.

No (D). Her stances on civil forfeiture and drug decriminalization outweigh her qualifications. If POTUS was gonna have his nominee held up then he should've gone for one with balls that hang to the left.

On policy, not much. However, she's an experienced prosecutor while he's a Washington politician at his core. I believe she'd politicize the office far less.
