Okay, maybe Mike Johnson is a competent parliamentarian.

Mac isn't completely a douche either, just mostly. There's some real pathos to him sometimes.

Even Dennis and Dee have their moments. Everyone on the show is completely delusional about who they actually are to the rest of society and even each other. Charlie isn't a saint, either - the guy obsessively stalks The Waitress and once even got out of paying his rent by threatening his landlord with a gun. Even the fact that he's so dumb can be partly attributed to his obsession with inhalants. I guess you could say he doesn't understand what he's doing, but that's his own fault.

One of my favourite moments was during the Chardee Macdennis episode where they're completely wrapped up in their own weird little world and one of the customers yells out "Thanks, guys" while he's leaving the bar.

I can't think of any times where Dennis has had a "moment", actually.  : D  I love how his character is so "in your face" and seems to never once break away from the extreme psychopathy.  He is so shameless about every one of his schemes.

One of the recent episodes had him walking in on Charlie and Dee where you could clearly see his makeup running due to crying. The guy knows he's full of sh**t, but cannot break out from it. He even called out everyone else on only getting by deluding themselves.. and so must have realised he was deluding himself as well (not that this is a virtue). The guy tries to be this supreme self-aggrandizing sex god but clings hopelessly to the opinions of others that he is, in fact, attractive in any way. It's quite sad. It's a form of a copy of Mac's "Project Badass" delusions.

The last season was especially strong, except perhaps the finale, bit weak IMO, but still one of my favourite shows for many years.

I've never been able to get into it, but I haven't seen enough episodes to form an opinion. Charlie Day has always seemed cool though.

Didn't vote in the poll.

Haven't been terribly fond of recent seasons. 3-7 killed it. Haven't seen season 10 due to being too lazy to find a way to watch it for free on the internet. Freedom Show.

It's an amazing show. I love it and I'm impressed by how it manages to keep such a high level through so many episodes.

I'll also note that it warms my heart to see Atlasians of all stripes unite behind this show! Here in Sweden I've found many people failing to appreciate it.

Of course Mac is an HP but that doesn't mean he's entirely devoid of pitiable characteristics.
