What would this map look like? What would demographic vote breakdown look like?

O'Malley-Kaine 270
Kasich-Rubio 268

Very narrow O'Malley victory.

Kaine as a VP wouldn't carry Virginia for the dems?

I also don't see why O'Malley would lose PA. He could appeal to working class Irish-Catholic voters.

It's not so much I see O'Malley as a particularly weak candidate (more like a blandish generic D), but I see Kasich as one of the strongest candidates the Republicans can realistically nominate.

Maybe, I can't judge because I haven't seen much of him on the stump.

The Question is, whether or not Walker is a strong supporter of Kasich/Rubio ticket. The harsh primaries costed him his VP slot, and out of revenge he gave Wisconsin to O'Malley!

Would Walker be pissed over not being the nominee, or not getting Veep slot?

Not endorsing your party's ticket in the swing state probably makes a difference. I live in WI, and this guy just won 3 elections in a row. If people are told to vote for Kasich or not it will make a difference.

Kasich/Rubio would win slightly. Some would say post - election that O Malley should have picked Sherrod Brown to win Ohio and crucial Midwestern states.
