An incredibly decent man who met the inevitable fate of most bold peacemakers.

I think he might have been a bit naive about who he was making a deal with, but I can't fault him for the decisions he made.

The other Yitzhak (Shamir) was basically a fascist who wanted to ethnically cleanse the country of non-Jews, so that's not a high bar to cross.
