What time will the announcement be? Will it be on the major channels (CNN, etc)?

The oracle (CSPAN) will surely cover it and air it over and over again throughout the week.

I think you guys are seriously underestimating Cruz. Of all the candidates with a chance, save maybe Paul, he has the most devoted supporters.

He probably won't get the nomination, but yeah he should have some consistent support levels. Maybe 2008 Huckabee would be a good comparison.
That would mean Cruz winning the Iowa caucus, which would be a terrible event in the history of thsi nation.

Iowa, at least on the Republican side, has generally been won by terrible people. Ted Cruz would actually be a huge step up.

That's a true statement.  What does that say about the GOP?

This is my question. I don't want to be in school or on the toilet or in the shower when he announces. I want to be watching the official start of the 2016 election season when it happens.

Meh, 6.8% chance Cruz doesn't run. I think we need some sans Cruz GOP primary polls just to be safe.

So, since the Republicans are going to run the first term Harvard Law Senator and the Democrats are going with the runner up from 8 years ago, Steve Bullock rises to the top of the Hillary VP list as a young first term governor form a 3 EV state.

Could Lindsey Graham be Cruz's Biden?

Also, really too bad they didn't have the guts to go all-in with the rhyme and call his press release section Cruz Newz

http://www.tedcruz.org/cruz-news/

And they may want to stop writing in the style of the North Korean Central News Agency:

Is it just me or does Cruz really look like 1950s Biff Tannen in some photos?

Cruz has a Juris Doctor graduate law degree from Harvard, so he is qualified to be President.

Famed Harvard Law Professor Alan Dershowitz, who had Cruz as a law student, describes Ted Cruz as "off-the-charts brilliant," warning Democrats against underestimating him.

Evidently Liberty University required its students to attend the announcement:
