It'll be a real test of how much we've lost Appalachia, but basically white Appalachian women should be a huge chunk of these voters

Also maybe a neocon that's moderate to liberal on issues other then foreign policy and sees Hillary as more hawkish then Obama was.

Hillary primary supporter who backed Obama in 2008 with the hopes that he'd add her to his cabinet (which he did), and voted against him in 2012 after Hillary hinted that she'd leave the administration after his first term was finished (which she did). Maybe hoping that a Romney incumbency in 2016 would make it easier for Hillary to win?

LOLOLOL! Is she serious or on drugs? Anyway, probably the typical Appalachian Romney/Clinton female voter lol.

You'd almost think. But she's indeed from New York Cedday,be her own account. I'm not an expert on American accents, but that wasn't an NYC accent, was it?

Anyways, I guess she didn't vote for the inadequate black male in 2012 either, but instead for President McCain...

Her electoral predictions are eerily akin to the quality of the 2016 thread.

Her name is Harriet Christian and yes, she voted for Obama in 2012. Many of my PUMA friends added her on Facebook after she bravely stood up and spoke the truth about the double standards in the primary and remained friends with her until she recently passed away. She was very open about supporting Obama in 2012.

She was also a lesbian and had pictures of herself with her partner on her page. I believe her daughter deactivated her account once she died, though.

A moderate-minded Democrat who was tired of the political correctness that dominated the Obama era and voted for Romney out of protest for Obama playing the race card.

That could fit a voter for either major party 2012 candidate, really.

BUMP

Sorry for what would be called "necroposting" but some of the takes in hindsight are absolutely hilarious.

PUMAs! Appalachian women! Lmao the exact opposite happened. Atlas really doesn't have a clue (although those who mentioned neocons got close).

Most of this forum is living in delusion land, for example plenty of people spent 4 years claiming that south-western Wisconsin is not really trending Republican, democratic voters just stayed home, or voted 3rd party or didn't vote for Hillary just because she was a woman but would vote for the next democrat.

These people genuinely make up 25% of the voters in my precinct as my area hasn't increased dramatically in population over the last decade.

I didn't notice the dates and thought I was going crazy, or that I had greatly overestimated the intelligence of posters here.

I'm like "guys... this isn't complicated. It's the suburban realignment we've been seeing for 4 years now... do I need to post a map??"
