In this very likely scenario, who would pull it off?

Could every Republican/Libertarian stop pretending, please, that Paul would have the slightest chance in New Hampshire? Sheezus man...

Yes, I know it is gonna be a very difficult state to win because NH women just LOVE Hillary. Maybe he can win enough men, but I doubt it. The GOP doesn't need NH (New Hawaii) anyway, so..

I honestly think Paul would squash Hilary or force her to come off as being antiwar and pro-civil liberties. If she turns her back on these issues, she will lose re-election in 2012.

If he wins NH he wins Colorado

Oh yes, because the leading state in the Libertarian movement wouldn't even think about voting for the new leader of the Libertarian wing of the GOP. Don't believe that one poll where he was leading Hillary there, guys!

You mean Colorado or NH? Anyway, Paul has a great chance of winning CO. NH is more difficult, though he may be the best GOPer for the state.

New Hampshire to counter Landroo's little tantrum

Clinton would obviously win.

I still believe that Paul would do better than the other GOP candidates, but that is not saying much.

What percentage of the vote do you think that the Free State Movement has a hold on?

The populous there in general has a libertarian stint to it.

Bush won with 48%. With Nader off the ballot, Bush probably would have lost.

That doesn't mean they'll just fall in line for anyone who appears to have libertarian leanings, it just means that Paul would do marginally better than other Republicans.

Ron Paul, libertarian hero, didn't even win the Republican primary there.

Because it was a closed primary with a native son on the ballot. And Paul pulled a damn good second with that

Besides being anti-tax, what other Libertarian positions are popular in NH?

Eminent domain reform, no automatic police checks, right to revolution, car insurance is optional, no mandatory seat belt or helmet laws, among others

I'd give Paul NC, but otherwise, this is pretty much what I see as of right now.

Am I sniffing home state bias?

And Ohio and Nevada are Hillary country against Paul.
