I'm not a Clinton supporter at all, but at least she is smart.

Doesn't matter, as both would be puppets of the capitalist class.

Clinton. She is hawkish enough for my preferences and her ideology is actually closer to pragmatic conservatism than Cruz's brand of far-right populism.

For someone who claims to be a champion of the working class, you sure seem blase to the prospect of millions of working class Americans losing their health insurance due to President Cruz.

Anyway, it will be quite interesting to see whether there ends up being more Republican crossover for Hillary or True Left crossover for Cruz.

I feel like this is roughly 1984 vs. Dr. Strangelove.

Clinton. I'm not sending the country into the utter disaster that would be the Cruz presidency.

Lol, why would Cruz repeal a law that the health insurance industry loves?

I think most leftists would prefer a rightist austerity driven president. Leftists typically think that once the trappings and illusions of gentle social democracy are taken away, the workers will wake up to the reality of capitalism and begin to support more revolutionary movements.

That's a thought process I disagree with (I think such a situation would only result in despondency and the rise of reactionary despots) but I think it's worth understanding.

Hillary, a lady whose ethics I don't trust. But Cruz is unfit for office. Period.

That's a good question. I am still very much undecided on which Republican candidate I will be ironically endorsing. The Republican field is just too full of delightful characters this year.

One might be able to make the argument that other Republicans may keep Obamacare mostly intact, but Cruz? He's clearly shown that he desperately wants to repeal it. He's a Tea Partier and that's priority number 1 on the Tea Party wishlist.
