These were the winners of my "Capitals" Survivor rounds.

Seemed only matter of time before the inevitable bonus round.

So yeah, vote away.

I'm with Boston (abnormal)

If it were Florence, Pisa, you name the city and it'd be a different matter. But Rome, Rome rubs me the wrong way.

Rome, been to Boston several times and while it's a beautiful city I already live on one overpriced northeastern city and would want to try something new.

I prefer Boston's climate, and you can still get good Italian food there.  Not as good Italian as in Rome, obviously, but the cuisine options are probably more diverse in Boston.

Rome.

Boston just does not appeal to me.

Climate, culture, wine (love Chianti, which is grown in nearby Tuscany), and food attract me to Rome, and I could learn Italian! I keep reading and hearing about how easy it is for English speakers to pick up (pronunciation, sentence structure, spelling, etc.).

I lived in Boston for just over five years and have fond memories, so that's how I voted, but to be fair I've only been to Rome briefly so I may not be completely objective.  Rome certainly is an interesting place and I'd like to go back.

Italy is one of the few countries in the world that it isn't really possible to overrate.

True, but this is not the case for Rome. One of the most underwhelming parts of the country

I cannot for the life of me think of another city that I wanted to really like, only to be very let-down. Instead what should've been one of the coolest places...was just so...ordinary.

Any other city in Italy, any other city (okay okay not Milan) would change my mind.

Boston; I like Rome but I couldn't live in a city without decent Asian food.

Voted Rome because it's the only one of the two I've been to, haha.
