So, with Jolly out and possibility of Rubio not getting into the race, who is the frontrunner? Lopez-Cantera, DeSantis or Beruff?

Don't know if Jolly's support goes to DeSantis or Lopez-Cantera, or if they split it equally. But Beruff was leading in the last non-Rubio polls we saw.

The douche voted against background checks today.  We'll see how that plays out.

If Rubio doesn't run, I think DeSantis is the frontrunner. He seems to have the best campaign going, is avoiding the mudslinging produced by the Lopez-Cantera and Beruff campaigns, and seems to be pretty conservative (could be popular with the GOP base in a low turnout primary election).

Rubio: "I'm not announcing on an escalator"

https://twitter.com/ChadPergram/status/745043971504746496

Hmmm..........

Four Days, Rubio. Four Days.

(Not like I care much. My endorsement has always been and always will be for Patrick Murphy)

Rubio suggests to CNN he hasn't decided, echoing what Caputo said yesterday.

Looking increasingly that Caputo's guess of a final no is correct...

He's got two days, so the drama 'aint over yet. Surely he didn't do all of this in order to give Jolly a dignified exit?

Of course he's backing Brandon Patty. He always supports the terribles. Pat Mooney would be a good Congressman from that district, and a fitting replacement for Ron DeSantis.

I'm now debating between DeSantis and Beruff in the primary, I would love Rubio to run again to see him crash and burn again.

Beruff? Why would you root for him, he wants to ban Muslims from entering the US, I heard. Or do you want to see him go down in flames in the general?

I literally never heard about that, if true, then it's between DeSantis and Lopez-Cantera then.

Why would Florida want a Senator who will go absentee again in 3 years? lol

Here's the article
He actually proposed banning "Middle Easterners (Muslim and non-Muslim), but still. He also says he stands by his comments.

Beruff has challenged Rubio to pledge to serve a full term, let's see if Rubio makes the pledge before jumping to conclusions.

He also pledged he wouldn't run for re-election, and even used that as a (sorry) excuse for his absenteeism.

Because my views are way too conservative for the Democratic party and many of their views contradict my own, plus I don't want to give the far-right what they want.

Yeah, this is what I don't understand. How do you go from this to getting reelected?

Rubio apparently told Cruz and Lee yesterday he's running, but they won't go public because they don't wanna be seen as shoving DeSantis out.
