I wish Connie Mack, IV, ran. He'd wipe up the primary quickly and make sure Grayson didn't stand a chance.

Any word on what Gwen Graham will be doing next year / when she'll announce her plans? If she wants to run for Senate, the clock is ticking. She would need to raise a lot of money and go against Patrick Murphy, who is favored by the establishment at this point.
I'm pretty sure the CW is that she'll go for the open Governor's chair in 2018.
To be honest, Crist or Mario Díaz-Balart would be better IMO.

All the Republicans v. All the Democrats would be amazing for Grayson and Jolly. Can you imagine the FDP nominating Murphy after turning on Grayson and being destroyed by everyone?

Edit: And for fun, include young Augustus Sol Invictus:

The Libertarian Party's only declared candidate. One of the three controversial front runners for the three parties, he is in part controversial because he admitted to sacrificing a goat and drinking its blood.

fwiw the infamous campaign strategist and Trump surrogate Roger Stone has also mused about running for the Libertarians.

The self-described GOP hitman?

Explain this scandal, why Murphy's bad b/c of it, and why I should care in one (at the absolute most two) short/concise sentences using 3rd grade-level words.  If you can't then it won't matter.
Mommy and daddy are cheating! They hate all non-Dumbocrats, and they hate Florida too!

Whose mom and dad?  Doesn't even make sense.  The second sentence is just Roll Eyes so I'll do you a favor and ignore it.

Third. Grade. Words.

If it's too complicated to understand, then I'll just do you a favor and ignore it.

CLC has the strongest statewide campaign and organization. He's really underrated.

Uh, no? Besides a strong base among college Republicans (no idea how that developed but it's definitely noticeable), I have not seen a single CLC supporter at any Republican event. He has the most endorsements, but that doesn't translate into the grassroots support that DeSantis has. I do suspect that CLC has a chance of supplanting Jolly for second if things continue the way they are.
While usually your connections to the FLGOP make me believe you, I find it doubtful that your personal anecdote supplants the fact that Lopez-Cantera has had two statewide runs with a campaign manager and team with experience in statewide bids. I would be very surprised if he does not outperform the polls by at least 5%.

I'm not talking about voters - I'm talking about campaign apparatus, the machine that led Cruz to his victory in Iowa.

If Rubio endorses CLC, DeSantis is basically out of this race thankfully.

I think you greatly overstate Rubio's influence.
Maybe so, but DeSantis and CLC desperately need Rubio's coalition of Cuban-Americans and those Tea Partier/establishment crossover types. It would be very hard for them to win with him backing someone else.

So my internship ended suddenly today (I wasn't fired but I'm being replaced since my boss owes someone a favor and there isn't room for two interns) so no more Sanchez-leaks for the time being Sad. He said he's gonna get me hooked up with the RPOF, but it looks hazy.
Would like Atlas to fake references for you?

The thing is, this is a rare situation where the Floridems aren't doing too bad. But if Murphy does turn out to be as flawed as Grayson, then they'd probably lose this one easily.
If Murphy's financial corruption allegations stick, he'll probably be hoping Jolly drops out. If they stick, I'd rate a Murphy v. Jolly race Tilt R.

Does anyone else think that TNVolunteer will start ranting conspiracy theory nonsense about 'angry Florida [demographic group]' if Rubio loses the general election?
No. The "angry New Hampshire women" at least have a little evidence of existing (if you look at subgroups in the polls)
Arguing with Smith is useless, he once called NH "the Alabama of the North" and loves the state because his dad lives there.
You are either willfully ignorant or stupid.

Smith is very sarcastic, and he did that to goad a response out of you.

There is no reason that a non-socialist would support a socialist for their party's nomination.

What about "I don't like Hillary Clinton"? Is that not a legit reason?

"I don't like Hillary Clinton so I'm going to vote for someone who would destroy the core factors of this country's identity" sounds quite dumb.

Most Republican logic does.

Not sure if this is the right place but I made some maps.
Maps
Libertarian Senate Map

I think it may be time to forcibly purge the Dixiecrats. Yes, a final solution is in order.
We'll never win the house or the majority of state legislatures then.

I'd say we should purge you, but the link there is too frayed.

In a hypothetical election between Bernie Sanders and pancreatic cancer, would a Sanders voter still be a socialist?

Not answering hypotheticals that have a <1% chance of ever occuring.

There is a >0% chance of pancreatic cancer running as a major party candidate for President of the United States?

There is a >0% chance of pancreatic cancer running as any party's candidate for any office on Earth?

Democrats never poured in much money here, as they expected Murphy to easily win. Rubio scared away potential donors for just long enough for this to happen. This isn't because Rubio has managed Florida to be so inelastic to where the only possibility is he could win by between two and five. This is because donors saved their money until post-primary so Murphy wouldn't use it against Grayson. Then Rubio managed to scare them off for just long enough for Rubio to secure the edge while the DSCC started pulling back.

If Rubio wins by 4% or less, hopefully this gets egg on the DSCC's face.
