No, no one wants to join you. Even a lot of Democrats admit Coolidge was a decent president. Great Depression was caused by the government, or more specifically, the Federal Reserve. Not the free market.

No way. Wilson has to go next!

What's wrong with Taylor, anyway?

Wilson? Why Wilson? We should get rid of Hoover!

Hoover? Ypur barking up the wrong tree. Hoover was a great man and a fine President.

He was a really terrible president, and I'll vote to eliminate him in Round 12 if the libs help me eliminate segregationist Wilson in Round 11.

The federal government is for foreign policy, some limited utilities, and settling trade disputes.

I understand that people thought big government was a good idea during the Great Depression, though they were mistaken. Anyway, big state government is far better than big federal government. Stick to the Constitution, and let states have public works projects if they want.

I'll agree to vote off "W" if you liberals agree to help me vote off Lincoln.

Substitute Lincoln for FDR, and I'll do likewise.

You have to vote off Lincoln first, for the simple reason that (A) States already voted this round, and (B) there's a much smaller chance of Lincoln being voted off.

I'm rooting for Grover Cleveland, personally.

I ask again, do we need to vot ehim out twice?

Maybe he has immunity. Anyway, why do you want to vote him out?

his economic policies were largely unsuccesful

We have some ultra-delusional Democrats on this board.

You are not right-of-center fiscally if you think Clinton is better than the guy who cut the top tax rate from 70% to 28% in the course of five years.

Where are all the "civil libertarian" Democrat nutjobs complaining about Lincoln? I think putting states under martial law is a little worse than the Patriot Act.

We're anti-slavery.

Are you anti-terrorism?

New topic:  Coolidge deserves to go.  His tax cuts are overrated (They only cut taxes from wartime to postwar levels anyway) and he let speculation and the like continue and this allowed the stock market crash.  He skipped town instead of run for another term largely because he probably knew wherethings were going.

Not everyone supported going back to pre-war levels, and in fact, not even Coolidge could accomplish that.
