The Walker surge is still very much alive in Iowa it seems.

I'm still interested to see if there is a Cruz surge. His speech trended way harder and was better than Walker's flavor of the month speech that propelled him.

I think the nomination will come down to Walker vs Cruz. Jeb and all the others will be inconsequential.

Depends.

For the 2012 IA caucus on the GOP side they produced a good final poll.

In 2014, they only polled GA and had Perdue winning by 3 [won by 8].

Just checked 2008. They had one of the best IA caucus polls back then (Obama+1 and Huck+6).

age 18-29: Cruz
age 30-44: Carson
age 45-64: Walker
age 65+: Walker
whites: Walker
blacks: Walker
Hispanics: Carson/Cruz/Walker tie

The poll included 4 blacks and 3 Hispanics who said that they'd vote in the GOP caucuses.

Two of the blacks support Walker, while Bush and Cruz get one each  (Why none for Carson?  Is he not black enough?).  Meanwhile, Carson, Cruz, and Walker each get the support of one of the three Hispanics.

InsiderAdvantage's other polls have been pretty bad though. Their average error is 8.1 points according to 538.
