Assuming that they don't support Hillary and want to stir things up a bit.

Not even one endorsement is needed to beat Hillary. She's weak, weak, weak. [/thread]

(Note: Joking)

But seriously, Obama and Tom Steyer.

Oprah

Also the media would jump all over any antiHillary endorsement from a Dem gov or Senator Simply to play up the horserace.

Future DailyKos headline: "Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont endorses Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont for President"

John Hickenlooper's or Michael Bennet's endorsements would guarantee an AntiHillary win in Colorado.

Seriously though, I'd say that Warren's endorsement would carry a fair bit of weight (she hasn't fully endorsed Hillary, has she?). I could see some Appalachian or Southern Democrats (the few that are left, like Manchin) supporting Webb, which could boost him in those areas.

No candidate is winning the Dem primary without a Bill + Hillary Clinton endorsement.

Also I expect Obama to withhold his endorsement until after the primary is fully settled, like Bush did in 2008.

In 2008 it was Ted Kennedy.

I'd say that Al Gore probably still holds some weight

Manchin has actually endorsed Hillary already.

Obama and Warren are the only two I can think of, but Obama's obviously staying neutral. It will be interesting to see what Warren does. She did sign the letter encouraging Hillary to run.

I think that Warren will endorse Clinton the moment she announces her candidacy. Perhaps then the polling companies will take the hint and stop including the former in their polls.

Al Gore
John Kerry
The Kennedy family
Warren
John Lewis?
Unions, especially AFSCME, SEIU, etc.
NY Times/Wash Post and other big papers might be significant only if they endorse someone other than Hillary

Good to know about Manchin. That's what I was thinking for Warren. I was pretty sure that she hadn't fully endorsed Hillary, but I remembered something about that letter.
