What if BRTD never came back. At first everybody would be happy and would joke about how we wouldn't have to hear about his ridiculous obsessions and worldview. People might just forget for a bit, but eventually someone would say, "What happened to BRTD? He hasn't posted in a while." And somebody else would say, "Yeah, maybe he died lol."
Then time and would go on and soon enough we'd really start to wonder if he actually did. We'd start to miss him, even if just a little. Somehow BRTD would come up in a discussion and a new poster would ask who he was. Someone would tell him about him and his antics, and then someone else would say something along the lines " Remember how he used to obsess over Ingress/hate suburbs and all non-progressives/whatever." People would laugh and remember. And we'd really miss him then.
Or maybe no one would really care. Either way, have a safe trip.
