Better weather, the city of Edinburgh, and not every damn creature is trying to murder you there...and no Tony Abbott.

Have you ever been to the UK?  I used to live there and have been back a few times.

Even damaged people like you are welcome here Smiley There are places where rain is obnoxiously plentiful, and when you get sick of that, go somewhere else. Visit a desert, then a tropical rainforest. There's a bit of everything. In the UK? Not so much.

Both would be decent alternatives to here if I had to move, but I picked the UK, as my partner has British citizenship, so it would make things easier (plus she has family there).

Sounds like the title of the next Earl Sweatshirt album.

Tough call. Both are appealing for very different reasons. I have several contacts in the UK and given my interest in British history, I probably say the UK. But it's not easy. Australia, I think, would also be great.

Australia would be the clear choice if not for the obnoxious time zone and absurdly high prices of things (like $90 video games). Also football is better than whatever weird rugby thing they play. Overall I'd still pick Australia though.

Newcastle/Yorkshire in UK.

Alice Springs in Australia.

They are still working on it.

I have the strongest affinity to American football because of my native culture, but Australian football is the best kind of football.

Australia, climate is similar to CA, but the seasons are in reverse to the US, where Summer happens around New Year's instead of the 4th of July. But, in that part of the wrld, that is their fireworks day.
