Also, in other Nevada related news:

State Sen. Ruben Kihuen, who ran for NV-01 in 2012 but lost the primary to Titus, has announced he will be running against Cresdent Hardy in NV-04. He's technically carpet-bagging, but I don't think voters will care whether he lives in Las Vegas or North Las Vegas.

I don't think it will take much to dislodge Hardy, but he seems like a solid recruit.

Yeah, the 4th is probably going to swing way back towards Democrats.

Not surprised.  I met Kihuen last election day, and he has 'ambitious' stamped on his forehead.  He lost the game of musical chairs in 2012 when two D-favored seats became available, after selecting the same chair as Dina Titus.  He didn't even bother running for it in the end.

You're not the only one who does this, but many people either don't read the megathreads or read them infrequently. Big political news like this needs its own topic.

Anyways, I've come to really like Reid after the hilarious way he went after Romney in 2012. I hope we can hold his seat.

Wonderful to see that a hardworking public servant like Kihuen is moving up!

I do find it quite amusing that the party of swiftboating suddenly wants to play by the Marquis of Queensbury rules when it comes to Willard and his glass jaw.

He's still healthier than Romney's presidential ambitions, so it seems he got the job done!

Reid was significant in initiating the American people's disdain for the Koch Brothers and Ole' Willard. Through both truths and lies he was able to assist in showing off Romney as the corporate ass that a majority of Americans saw as unworthy to serve in the Oval Office, granting us another four years of the great man that is Barack Obama. Harry Reid is the ultimate Freedom Fighter.

I'm glad that he's retiring, because i doubted that he'll win again. Especially if Sandoval is the Republican nominee.

The Dems had a Lisa Madigan in waiting, Attny Gen Cortez-Masto, and why would they waste resources on Reid, best to have the best candidate in holding this is chose to invest in IL/CO/OH.

I just got push polled by an agency trashing Masto and talking up Joe Heck, and mysteriously, former Assembly minority leader and Sandoval chief of staff Heidi Gansert.  I guess she's interested then.

Attny Generals who represent liberal interest in the 9th Circuit, like Kamela Harris and Cortez-Masto are doing well in the polls. That their state's voters have no qualms about.
