My parents despicably adorned me with nonsense "dress clothes" and toted me along for some disgusting Christian rituals sometime in March/April 1988 at the age of ~7 months.   My poor, brainwashed mind did not grow out of this until I was about 10 and refused to do anything on "Easter Sunday" but play video games in my basement (which is all ANY kid should be doing on Sunday morning) like the freedom fighter I am.

I have a very vague memory of opening a closet very early on Easter morning, finding a basket of chocolate eggs, eating all of them, and getting sick. Not sure if this was something I actually did or just a cute story my mom made up to tell people (she did that a lot for some reason) and repeated so many times that my mind created a misty outline of a memory of actually doing so.

Here's a complete list, including the tables to calculate the dates.

But there's no need to look far, since almost every qualified poster here should answer Mar 23/Apr 24.

For all of us here the earliest Easter in our lifetime is Mar 23, which just happened in 2008. The earliest possible date is Mar 22, but that last occurred in 1818 and won't happen again until 2285.

For most of us here the latest date in our lifetime so far is Apr 24, which just happened in 2011. The latest possible date is Apr 25 and I wasn't around when that last occurred in 1943. However, many of you will live to see that date occur in 2038.

I've no idea.  Maybe around 1999 or so?  Though I'm always in it every year for the chocolate and candy (normal).

What's interesting, as someone born on April 3 (Easter Sunday 1983) so including that one, I have had three Easter Sundays fall on my birthday (the last being 1994)... but the next one doesn't occur until 2067 when I'd be 84 years old. So three falling in 11 years but then none for 73 years.

When I was growing up, a lot of my friends got to celebrate both Christmas and Hanukkah.

I just got to have to go to church for Easter not once, but twice.

I don't even get the question...

The earliest was the 1st one after my birth, the latest one last year, and if you mean a 'celebration' of it with a ritual or something, I don't have any particular memories, in France I guess outside of a bunch of rather traditional families not many people really do something special for Pâques, which is a far better word than 'Easter'.

We buy chocolate for kids mostly, and if you have a garden, you can do the hidding stuff, period.

The hidding stuff can be fancy but nothing particularly marked me for Pâques...

Easter is on a different date every year. Which year was it on the earliest date and which year was it on the latest date?

Well, that's really what the original poster wanted to know?

If so I'll go by:

Though you could also use the answer I gave after those empty quotes: 23 Mar / 24 Apr. It's correct for everyone born after 1943 and before 2008.
