If I had to guess I'd say playing an interactive video game is better for a child's development than passively watching a TV show.

I'd hijack 3-5 to 4-8, for which I have surer memories...

BI-IOMAN! BI-IOMAN! Héros de l'U-NI-VEEEEEEEERS!

Once I've been the green one, wow that was so f**king great, but, a few hours after, in the morning I realized that, maybe, sometimes, dreams can seem f**king real...

The Pink and the Yellow were girls and they were obviously in love with me.

Power Rangers stole everything to those cute and wonderful Japanese (as Americans often do...).

Also...

GOLDORAK GO! blahblhablhaaaah...(gosh, lyrics might have stayed stick in the 1980s for that one...)

And, indeed, maybe the most tremendous cartoon ever made...

LES CHEVALIERS DU ZODIA-AAAAAAAAAQUE!

I'd be curious to see those shows again now, but I'm not fond of all those 'nostalgiac quests' (but, am I making a little one here? Tongue), memories might remain better when they stay memories.

All's said here:

Bernard Minet was the great singer of all those stuffs.

Never been fond of Dragon Ball and Sailor Moon though.

And indeed all of this belonged to...

CLUB DO-RO-THEEEEEEEEEEE!

Which was the master show for kids in the late 1980s, early 1990s, hated by parents loved by my generation, full of Japanese animes, cheap to buy, and not that bad when you think about it.

Really a marking generational thing, to the point that when Charlie Hebdo happened, one the 1st thing I thought is something like 'gosh, those guys are my age, we watched the Club Dorothée in the same time...', and amusingly it's something I heard latter from other people in the media...

The most terrible thing being that Cabu, historical French cartoonist, for harsh political satyre but not only, also made stuffs for kids in the Club Dorothée, and he's been part of those assassinated in early January...

My f**king generation is on the rise.

Are Bioman, Goldorak, les Chevaliers du Zodiaque et tutti quanti responsible for all of this??

Nah, come on, it can't be those, such a violence can only the produce of soomething like this...

An American thing indeed...

(f**k I liked it too...Tongue)

Not so much for 3-5 year olds. Although my 4 year old daughter plays lots of games on her tablet, but I wouldn't count it as "video games".
