(big, big gap)
2. Philadelphia Phillies
3. Uh... as much as I'm opposed to the NCAA on principle, gotta go with Rutgers football anyway.

Its more like four. Sunderland AFC (Sad), the Wales Rugby Union team (Smiley), Glamorgan County Cricket Club (Sad), and Durham County Cricket Club (Smiley). Obviously I also follow the England cricket team, but like any true follower of said side, 'favourite' is not the word to use. The relationship is necessarily much more complicated than that.

Mets / Jets / Islanders, in that order.  LA Clippers 4th

Yeah, this. Although the Islanders is on the rise and Jets stock struggling. Knicks will jump into the picture when they are playing well but I am fed up with Dolan Inc.

The other teams I support are Providence College Hoops and hockey, Notre Dame football and Celtic Football Club.

I actually think the Jets could be ok/good in 2015... Fitz at QB, Marshall/Decker/Kerley and Amaro to throw to.  the best Jets passing offense in a long time.  and the defense should be above average at worst.

I think the 2015 AFC East could look a lot like the 2002 AFC East... bunch of teams around 7-9, 8-8, 9-7...

I said to my brother that with the moves they have made on paper I think they are a better team than both of those AFC championship teams.  However, I am a Jets fan and fully expect bad things to happen.

the 2009 team had the best defense in the league and one of the few best running games in the league. we'll have to see how this defense shakes out.  I don't think re-signing Harris was the right move, but the Jets have real talent both on the DL and the secondary, hopefully they can play off one another.  Bowles is much like Rex in that he often brings a 5th rusher, which is where Revis comes in bigtime.

and there's a chance that at no. 6 the Jets can add a nice piece, such as an ace edge-rusher, an OL, Amari Cooper, or trade down and fill multiple, non-skill position needs.
