So, after lots of stupid threads with even more stupid suggestions, here's an idea actually worth considering.

1. He's actually an elected official.
2. He's a scientist, which should help improve the GOP's image of an "anti-science party"
3. He's not insane, which should help improve the GOP's image of a "crazy party"
4. He's not a troll, unlike many other contenders
5. He's neither Governor nor Senator from Illinois, which means he's not corrupt
6. He's not from one of these scary states like Oklahoma
7. He's got both executive (Mayor) and legislative experience
8. The Atlas Forum likes him, even though he's a moderator
9. This list must have section 9
