Since Stanley Ann Dunham is a U.S. citizen, native born, her son would be also native born and considered eligible for the Presidency, under the 1793 (or so) law that makes Ted Cruz eligible for the Presidency. (The Founders explicitly said that children of parents born to Americans are eligible for the Presidency. That law has stood uncontested for 200+ years).

I thought the issue was that at the time the relevant law required both parents to be citizens if born abroad.
