Because most of the people who are pearl-clutching over it are paternalists disguising themselves as defenders of social justice.

I don't buy this.

I mean it's mostly white Christians getting angry because a Jewish man (who would be accepted under Israel's Law of Return) is making jokes about his own people.

Pretty clear-cut case of paternalism.
