So 2015 is a quarter of the way through, and some really great albums have come out this year. In no order, I've really liked:

1. Kendrick Lamar - To Pimp A Butterfly
2. Currents - Life//Lost
3. Shizune - Le Voyageur Imprudent
4. Drake - If You're Reading This, It's Too Late
5. Enter Shikari - The Mindsweep
6. BADBADNOTGOOD + Ghostface Killah - Sour Soul
7. Death Grips - Jenny Death/The Powers That B
8. Things Fall Apart - Things Fall Apart
9. Earl Sweatshirt - I Don't Like Shit, I Don't Go Outside
10. Stick To Your Guns - Disobedient
11. Oceans Ate Alaska - Lost Isles
12. Periphery - Juggernaut
13. Xibalba - Tierra Y Libertad

And new releases are on the way from Sirens & Sailors, Knuckle Puck, Dance Gavin Dance, Silverstein, Chase Huglin, and many more! The excitement is palpable.

How about ya'll?

Muse - Drones will be my favorite and probably only REAL listen of 2015.  When I listen to an album it becomes a slight obsession.  I don't bother listening to albums unless I know the band or something catches my ear to the point where I feel like I need to get into the artist further.

Happened recently, actually.  My friend's cousin threw on "A Little Piece Of Heaven" by Avenged Sevenfold on the way back from a Weird NJ trip and I wound up really getting into the album.  That's pretty rare, though.

Even though I'm way out of my Avenged Sevenfold phase, I still love that song just for the nostalgia and comedic value that it holds. On balance, that album is pretty good, too.
