never understood the birther movement. You are either born a citizen or a naturalized citizen. There isn't a third type (born but not 'natural born').

What I find especially amusing is that when asked about the specific circumstances of Cruz's birth, 38% of Republicans correctly identify him as being born abroad, which is close to the 45% for those who think that Obama was born abroad, yet those who think that Obama is ineligible are nearly twice as many as those who think that Cruz is.

Ah, but see the more hardcore birthers will maintain that even if Obama was born in the U.S., he's still ineligible because only one of his parents was an American citizen, and the founding fathers totally understood "natural born citizen" to refer to the purity of your bloodline.
