I saw this on the local news. It went viral in New Mexico facialbooks. Totally fabricated video about a pro-ISIS rally (it was just a Muslim student group Q&A) at the university because the redneck taking the video was too dumb to comprehend anything beyond the sign that said ISIS was the subject of the meeting. Hilarious.

That's one of the nice things about New Mexico. It really is a microcosm of the entire nation. To a have a state of New Englander affluents, Latinos, and Confederate rednecks all interacting so close together in the same culture is truly special.

True, but Florida is very segregated. Here they live in the same cities and neighborhoods.

The guy is not even an elected official and doesn't represent anyone but himself.  What does this have to do with General Politics-U.S. General Discussion?  I think it's in the wrong forum.

What would be the right forum? It is a politically charged incident, so I would definitely belongs somewhere. Off Topic Board is mostly sports threads.

Off Topic or Religion or wherever the mods place threads about when a random non-politico says controversial stuff about religion.  Some random dude saying something controversial jumping to conclusions about a Muslim student group and ISIS isn't really about politics.

Well, if Tom Cotton is right, and ISIS is working with the drug cartels, New Mexicans should be very worried.

Every so often you hear someone say something about a political issue that, for a moment, makes you question if we should maybe have intelligence testing for voting.
