I don't think so. It takes longer than a few weeks to get fired from retail for incompetence, and I don't think he'd steal their healthy (marketed) food. It is fairly probable that he would have gotten fired had he stayed though.

Probably yeah. It would explain a great many things. Something clearly happened or he was told to shape up, so "I'm takin' my ball and going home" maybe was his answer. In any event, the last 10 pages or so of that Update are pretty crazy. Crazier than what's "normal" for it anyway.

It's probably this:

Bushie goes to work on April 1st -> He's sluggish/mildly complaining of pain, and so is mildly told off and told to go home and get some extra sleep for day 2 -> Bushie overreacts and decides to look for another job in anger -> finds a call center and celebrates -> Quits Sprouts -> Told by fatso friend that he made the right choice
