Very nice project! Even by looking at this, I more clearly understand the electoral aspects of each state. I find it very interesting that whites in the south living in urban counties and/or counties with more black and Hispanic people are much more likely to vote Democratic than whites who live in a exurban, rural, majority white counties. I would love to see Texas, though 254 counties would take an insane amount of time.

For how white Kentucky is, I'm surprised how Republican white voters are, especially in comparison to Tennessee, which is much blacker.

Virginia is fascinating, but I have to ask, how does Roanoke County only have 7% of Obama white vote? Its 87% white and 37% Obama.

I have a question. If Philadelphia voted 85% Obama, with whites voting 81% Obama and blacks voting around 95% Obama (I think that's a safe assumption), how does that add up to 85%? Do Philadelhia blacks turn out badly?

Is there any specific reason why Kosciusko, Indiana is so Republican?

Adam, you may want to check out Florida. There's some counties that are probably mixed up (I noticed it when I clicked on Seminole County and it said Santa Rosa (where Obama got 18%!)

Hey Adam, Rhode Island has higher white vote percentages for Obama in the 3 counties other than Providence than the counties themselves, is that a mistake or how is that possible?

To be very honest I think we're underestimating white Obama support in Texas, the Oklahoma/Texas border looks very unnatural for instance. I think its unrealistic for white voters to be consistently going >90% Republican in rural counties.  I also agree with what Torie said.
