I won't touch the main topic of this thread because it's gross and terrible but
feminism has often created an ideology for women with BPD and HPD to cloak their disorders in.
If demonstrating this was (part of) the purpose of the MRA 'movement' then it's touched on a legitimate concern but from
entirely the wrong direction, so wrong that it and the legitimate concern basically just have the keywords 'feminism', 'BPD and HPD', and 'cloak' in common and nothing else. The legitimate concern is that there's an increasing amount of debate in the psychiatric community about
the heavily gendered nature of the way BPD and HPD tend to end up being diagnosed--the 'bitches are crazy' model of mental health care, if you will. Has anyone else read
