It appears that this will be the most interesting election until the next presidential election. So, I guess it deserves a special thread? Tongue

My analysis: FLO FAVORED TO BE REELECTED
I have right now:
-12 voters SafeFlo/LeanFlo
-10 voterd SafeDeadprez/LeanDeadprez
-4 Undecided

In order to be defeated:
-Flo would have to lose every Undecided voter.
- Rightwing turnout would have to be extremely high. And considering the last elections, that will likely not happen.

My prognostic would be a Flo win by a 3-4 votes. Although a much closer margin (1-2) or a larger 5-6 wouldn't surprise me either.

Your prognostic?

I'll be so sad if Flo loses. There's absolutely no reason why he shouldn't be re-elected.

There's no reason, rightfully speaking, that Flo shouldn't be re-elected in a landslide.

He ruined the Dungeons & Dragons game though

If there is any sanity left down south, they will be competent enough to reelect Flo. Should they be that dumb though not to do so, there will always be a place in the Pacific for a certain former Speaker of the Council Wink

Please explain and be extremely detailed and specific when making your argument against Governor Flo's reelection.

Glad to see so much interest in our region's electoral process.

Flo's political leanings make him naturally vulnerable in the South. I will admit that he has been highly capable as Governor and that does help him a lot, but he'll always have a harder time than someone like myself would in that office.

Some people are getting way too defensive and personal over the mere entrance of another candidate into this race. That ought to mean something coming from me.

The IDS is dead. Please don't refer to our great region as that anymore!

Indeed and no one was interested in running last time except him. No Federalist has run for the position since Emperor Scott. Unless you expect the region to end up like the Pacific with only five or six active voters, then it would be only natural for there to be competition from the right in the South for someone left flo.

Some people are getting way too defensive and personal over the mere entrance of another candidate into this race. That ought to mean something coming from me.

Oh no, someone is being challenged, in an elections game? Call the police!!!! Wink

Engaging elections are the lifeblood of this game.

Remember when people refused to call us the Dirty South? People are going to call it what they like regardless of what a piece of paper says.

I've always called it a wacky-ass region that needs to be under the heel of the far-left, but sadly that will likely never happen!

And you wonder why you are still burned in effigy in some parts of the South. Tongue
