With 4 boxes left in Peace River, PC leads by 2 votes.

The Liberal audience at David Swann's speech is cheering the NDP victory hahah

And Swann just sort of compared the PC dynasty to a third world dictatorship

When you have 44 years of conservative dominance, any change in the opposite direction is wonderful news for anyone with a center or center-left persuasion.

Liberal Leader David Swann keeps his Calgary-Mountain View seat. Will the ALP even be around for much longer?

David Swann for Speaker?

(Including Prentice) what is the percentage of incumbents that won't be returning to the legislature?

NDP is being close in Peace River, PC only leads by 13 votes, right now.

With 4 polls remaining. Why have they called it so long back?

Has Prentice basically thrown Calgary-Foothills to the NDP?

I've got to agree he does seem pretty cool.  Glad to see that he was re-elected.

PCs lost 45-50 incumbents, plus Blakeman (L). 61 incumbents are running (I think). So roughly 80% of incumbents lost.

A net gain of at least five women to the legislature, which is good in itself.

9 vote margin in Chestermere, the earmuff district around Calgary. The result there will really affect how nice the map ends up looking.

Peace River seems to be one vote apart. They may have to call back a declaration.

Is this from the CBC? For it still only has 58/66 booths in there.

Peace River just went orange on the CBC map. The map looks much nicer now.
