No head-to-heads, but it's worth noting that Lee, the incumbent, only leads Josh Romney 37-30, and 49-35 when only Republicans are polled. Jim Matheson remains the Dem favorite at 54% regardless of who is polled.

Run away while you still can, Mike Lee. Think of the wife and children you would leave behind.

Head-to-heads: Lee leads Matheson 48-42, with 10% undecided, though Matheson easily leads Lee with independents.

Eh, Romney's a household name in Utah. With enough backing, the seat is his.

Not to worry. Lee and the great conservative grassroots will crush Romney like the Patrick Bateman he is.

Romney's a household name in most parts of the United States these days.

Would've been true a couple of years ago, but now that Utah's got a hybrid primary/convention system rather than just a convention system (the change initiated by establishment conservatives angry over Mike Lee beating Bob Bennett), Romney can throw a lot of cash into a primary fight.

Plus Utah is one of the few places were the Romneys are legitimately adored.

It's pretty much impossible to be to the right of Mike Lee.

I'm sure Utah Republicans will try. Maybe on criminal justice issues, since Lee has been vaguely supportive of Rand Paul's rhetoric on that.

Also, interesting approval numbers in a new poll, including Lee with 56 favorable opinion.

I genuinely wouldn't be surprised if Mike Lee actually wanted to ban condoms.

The fact that even Cory Gardner wants to ban condoms just shows how far right the Republican party has shifted.

He doesn't, but he does want gold and silver as currency and tells everyone he can that he can grant a letter of marquee to himself to become a pirate.

Romney says he won't run but will consider running for office in the future.

With Huntsman and JRomney out, the anti-Lee crowd has about as thin a bench as the Democrats do. Leavitt could give it a try, but I doubt it.
