Oddly, Bushie's original, actually off-topic post was left undisturbed, as were two posts substantially similar to mine by two of our own.

Needless to say, I was very confused and tried to reply to the moderator's pm to clarify what I'd done wrong. But of course, new posters can't send pms, even to reply to ones that someone sends them
