It's great that someone who voted against the Iraq War is running.

Maybe now Zell Miller can run as a Republican.

LOL. He'd get slaughtered in the primary over his endorsement of Michelle Nunn.

Honestly I'd consider supporting him if he positions himself as the most anti-war candidate.

He did? I guess he's still pretending to be a Democrat.

I guess he feels indebted to Sam Nunn.

Considering Bernie Sanders hasn't officially jumped in yet, endorsed!

Good guy, would make a good President. Great heir to Obama.

No, a candidate considering running against the anointed one is not a joke.

Didn't he have like one of the lowest approval ratings in the country as a governor? I thought that's why he didn't seek re-election last year. And he thinks he can win? Oh well, the more, the merrier.

Tough call with Webb also running, but Chafee is better on other issues than Webb.

That approval rating was much lower than it should've been. Anyone elected in RI will face low approval numbers because of how messed up the state is. Chafee also had other things going against him. The first was his plurality win, winning roughly a third of the state. The second was he ran and governed like a liberal and Rhode Island, though we may love Democrats, hates liberals. Third is Rhode Island is so dysfunctional and corrupt that almost anyone elected at the state level will be vilified within a year.

The media also turned him into the Grinch after the whole "holiday tree" thing despite the previous two governors calling it the same thing.

I mean, I get that certain people are getting extremely desperate now that both Hillary and Warren have made their intentions clear, but Chafee? He makes O'Malley look like a formidable juggernaut.
