Why would she announce on a weekend? Does she want to bury her own announcement?

If she does it Sunday PM she gets Sunday night news and then all of Monday along w Rubio

Doesn't matter anymore. We finally found the candidate who will defeat her in a landslide and who's actually going to run unlike that foul Warren creature - Lincoln Chafee!

Hillary could announce a month before the Iowa Caucuses and still win.

As a former Republican and Independent, Lincoln Chafee has bipartisan credentials and independent appeal that will ensure a landslide against the Republican nominee.

She must be scared of Rubio, announcing the day before he does to overshadow his announcement. If she wasn't scared of him, she would have waited a few more days before leasing that office so that she could wait until late next week to announce. Her announcing just before Rubio sounds like fear of Rubio more than anything else.

Indeed. He will get >60% of the vote even in WY and UT, and he will get 100% in CO.

From recent reports it sounds like she wants her rollout to be as low key as possible. She's the last person in the country to need media attention. She wants to focus this campaign on voters' concerns and real issues rather than her celebrity profile as soon as possible.

I hope she bores the hundreds of reporters following her in IA and NH to death like she did on her 2000 listening tour when she talked in small groups with upstate voters about dairy price supports and air fares. They deserve it.

The less people hear about Hillary, the more they like her.
There's absolutely no evidence of this. Her approval ratings were remarkably constant throughout the 2007/8 campaign - fluctuating between 45-50% - despite being everywhere in the media every single day. Clearly she was more popular when she was SoS and not subject to a barrage of partisan attacks and smears; but all that happens when she runs for office is she inevitably loses any fleeting popularity with Republicans and Republican-leaning independents.

jfern hasn't let go of something that happened 13 years ago that she has said she regrets. But when someone is a corporatist warmonger she-beast... what else to do you expect but evil weasel-words.... (is that right?). I think someone really should write a PhD on the evolution of Hillary Clinton from evil liberal/lesbian/ball-buster to evil warmonger/secret right-winger. *shhh despite she's arguably to the left of Obama on a number of things, including healthcare... shhh*

That's right. She's been absolutely fantastic on issues like Kyl-Lieberman, Wall Street, fracking, the war in Syria, and so on. Hillary is more pro Likud and anti negotiation with Iran than Obama.

surprised they will wait until noon to release the video. That means it cant be shown on the Sunday political shows. They will all talk about Hillary's announcement, but wont have any new footage from her, leading to them rehashing old news/gripes.

This sounds very low key. No announcement rally on Sunday? Looks like a social media announcement followed by campaigning.

So she'll declare her intention and start campaigning... but formally announce in a month.

…and remember, when campaigning, remind voters, Hillary will not be polarizing,   calculating,   disingenuous,    insincere,    ambitious,     inevitable,    entitled,    over confident,   Secretive, and most important she “will do anything to win”, does “represents the past”, is not “out of touch” because she has a new server with all the email accounts necessary to keep in touch with bill.

It is said that the Hillary is telling guest, supporters and the media, that, "not" under any circumstances, she, "Hillary", will not allow any blue dresses to be worn at any of her events.

I don't know why Hillary Clinton is even running. We all know that the inevitable Lincoln Chaffee is almost 100% assured to win the Democratic nomination easily (LOL!).
