BTW, my precinct at the time voted over 90% against the anti-gay marriage in May 2012.

can't find the data.  I tried all my local sites, and I no longer have a paid membership to this site (in protest of opebo's banning).

this is my info if anyone can look it up:  (Huntington, Suffolk County, NY)

    Election District   : 12       County Legislative District   : 17
    Senate District   : 5       Assembly District   : 10
    Congressional District   : 3       Town   : HUNTINGTON

- Liberal (McGuinty): 124 (49%)

- Green (Kitor): 15 (6%)
- Prog. Canadian (Gullon): 2 (1%)

^ I wasn't living there at the time. I'm also not 100% sure this is my precinct, since the boundary appears to cut through my apartment building.

2014, provincial:

- Liberal (Fraser): 95 (54%)
- Prog. Cons. (Young): 36 (20%)
- NDP (Funiciello): 27 (15%)
- Green (Lakatos-Hayward): 14 (8%)
- Libertarian (Brisson): 2 (1%)
- Special Needs (Redins): 2 (1%)
- Communist (Manirambona): 0 (0%)

65% For Obama, 30% for Romney.

I live in a precinct in NYC that has a large working class italian american population and some nice big houses and thats where the large number of romney voters probably came from.

My county (Johnson County, IA, home to Iowa City) voted 67% for Obama, but my precinct - which was just my neighborhood which surrounds an elementary school - voted 53% for Romney.

About 57%-41% Romney, give or take (too lazy to look it up now, but I remember it from looking it up before).  It votes about the same way for all other partisan offices as well.

I've looked it up before, but I forgot the exact numbers and I can't remember where you find New York City precinct results. He won my Assembly District with 97% of the vote* and my precinct's result was probably about the same.

*Very close race between Obama/Biden (Working Families Party) and Romney/Ryan (Republican), with Romney just prevailing, 990-900. In 2008, Obama (WFP) beat McCain (Republican) 1043 to 1028.
