Up until pretty recently, it felt like states were being updated with 2020 election data frequently on the site. Now it's become a trickle, and an entire year after the 2020 Pres election we still don't have data for some key states like VA, PA, and NJ. Anyone know why data is taking so long for these remaining states in particular?

Also just to clarify this isn't me hating on DRA; I really appreciate the work they and vest team do to get this data so that all of us can easily access and use it for free.

I know Virginia is almost impossible due to the centralized precincts they use for mail in ballots.   There isn't really any record of where the votes came from other than which county they're from.

Yeah it really sucks because VPAP is the best thing for election needs. Virginia was like the 1st state to have 2016 data

Agreed, not sure why the 2020 data for PA and NJ in particular aren't released.

Especially since NYT detailed map has had 2020 PA precinct data pretty much from the start.

My guess for NJ is that 2020 data was aggregated by the state to townships, not precincts.

Since VEST Team were somehow able to produce a dataset for Virginia's 2020 elections, I have faith in them to get the 2020 Presidential datasets for remaining seven states.

The most important ones remaining IMO are obviously Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and to a lesser extent New Mexico.
