He has to make money somehow. All that time in public office put him behind the curve. It appears he will be handling their "socially responsible" investments, so he doesn't have to get his hands dirty with the slashing and burning that Mitt was doing.

Honestly, it's still far less of a shill move than the ex-governors who become presidents of trade associations or ex-senators who join lobbying firms.

Best speech of the DNC sans Bubba. If O'Malley had given that speech he'd have Warren's level of support.

I guess he's being consistent:

The "true progressive" wing frequently gets taken advantage of by empty suit con artists. Just look at their love affair with John Edwards for proof of that.

LOL, wow. I never knew about this. I thought it was just Booker that was defending Bain (which was why I hated him for quite a while.)

And people were literally touting this guy as a left wing alternative to Hillary in the past 2 years, knowing he defended poor Willard and the lovely Bain Capital.

And Clinton sat on the board of Walmart, which is just as bad if not worse, so what is your point?

Walmart was like the only company in Arkansas. If not for Walmart theyd probably still be living in caves down there.

I can't answer the question for him, but do you live in DC?

No, I had a relative who lived there (her house was very close to the capitol building) but she passed away 7 years ago.  I have a DC avatar to differentiate myself from the other R-SC posters.

This is hilarious.

That Deval Patrick is such a vulture capitalist.

Those Democrats don't care who they trample over on their way to wealth.

They viscously attack Mitt over Bain, and now one of their own joins Bain.

Oh the irony of it all.

1) No it isn't. I also doubt she'd backstab the Democrats by defending Walmart to the media if they were campaigning against it.

2) Like I said, he was touted as a "progressive alternative" to the supposedly right wing Hillary. So saying "she's just as bad as he is", even if it was true, doesn't actually address the point.
