No, they all voted for LBJ or stayed home.

I suppose that it could be a Arizona Democrat. Not much else comes to mind.

Someone who is contrarian, distrustful of established politicians, and libertarian leaning, and probably young. Perhaps someone in South Dakota? McGovern did only 10 points worse than Johnson in SD. Or perhaps someone whose views on civil rights, war, women's issues etc. evolved from 1964-1972.

On women's issues I don't think that there views would even need to evolve. Abortion in particular was not really a partisan issue yet and Goldwater was pro-choice at the same time that Ted Kennedy was believe it or not pro-life.
