Huckleberry Finn--

The city manager of the city in which I live has the last name Korhonen!

Of course, this area (Upper Peninsula of Michigan) has one of the highest concentrations of Finns in the country. We even have a Finnish language television show on Sunday mornings on the local television station in Marquette, MI.

Yep Wink

I've got a load of relatives in Australia (and as a result I'm interested in it). They live in Tasmania and NSW (one uncle *did* live around Melbourne for a while though)

Gippsland... home of those giant worms?
Apparently it *does* look a bit like Iowa...

among other things, but yes, home of the giant worms.

they are both heavily rural. I love Gippsland because every January I go down to my uncles property there, go canoeing, 4WDing, umm...well thats about all the activity. But its heaps of fun to relax in the country.

I chose Davenport Iowa because there is a town in Tasmania called Davenport. I was thinking about Melbourne, FL but it was too obvious Wink

BTW, Tasmania is nice-but everyone there has two heads.

Well... some probably do... but... um... er... Tasmania was the only state that swung *against* Howard last election! Smiley

You never heard...  "Cat scratch fever..." ?

Ah, my favourite Ted Nugent song. Like Angus said, brings to mind mullets and Alabama at sundown. Well, something like that. I'm paraphrasing. Anyway, I've heard of all the stuff you mentioned - never had much time for Queen, to be honest, but then I'm more into punk rock as far as 70s music is concerned... and how anyone could have lived through the 80s and never hear of Iron Maiden is simply beyond me...... (pelts tomatoes at Boss Tweed.)

I took the liberty to change the question because I felt it made no sense to answer a question based on a President I know little about but the stuff I read from the history books.

Near Fordham Road, just about 5 minute walk from Washington Heights - which is north from the upper west side.

Gustaf,
I'm scared to ask which one.

also, I saw Iron maiden several times in concert back in high school.  They rock.  what a great show.  I didn't even know those old farts were still around, though.

My english teacher in the eleventh grade let us play an Iron Maiden album and then we discussed it with respect to what we had been studying.

Heh, it was a joke. Smiley

They are very intellectual group in fact. The most lyrics are about history etc. Of course there is some stupidity too.
