I don't smoke pot anymore but I'm still a stoner in spirit.

Despite the fact that I am a Mormon who has never touched coffee, let alone pot or anything like that, I'm cool with stoners. Just don't smoke in my face. Use vaporizers or juice or whatever.

And if you slip me a funny brownie, more power to you, I guess.

As long as they don't brag about it, Idc. If they do, they're frauds trying way too hard.

This is pretty much where I stand, and given where I went to High School...they were everywhere

In high school and afterward, stoners and fellow nerds (there's always been considerable overlap, and both groups in my experience were always fellow working class kids) have always been the social groups that I've felt most comfortable around and always been closest to. Pretty much all my friends in high school were either stoners/nerds/scene kids (very few of the latter, of course because my god)

That's interesting.  In my school there are far more stoners among the non-nerds.....a lot of us nerds around here tend to be fairly serious people, not wanting to get in trouble, getting straight A's and all.

Same goes for my school, but the goth/scene kids seem to usually be stoners.

Some scene kids (most actually) seem to choose the embrace of aesthetic over anything interesting, but some are quite knowing of the music they listen to, which is something I really like even if I don't like the music in question.
