Couldn't be more glad that this guy's retiring. Although it would be nice if he picked Durbin (who I am indifferent towards) to succeed him instead of Schumer (whom I hate).

If Reid were younger and had a less soft-spoken voice, he'd basically be the best VP attack dog type.

What did you like best, him slandering a private citizen on the Senate floor about his taxes, or  his tales about smelling the tourists?

I'm sure you'll hold this same standard to attacks on private citizen Hillary Clinton.

When some Republican Senator, Mitch McConnell or whoever, declares on the Senate floor that 'someone told me' Hillary didn't pay any taxes, give me a holler

No, instead Trey Gowdy will say that Hillary killed people in Benghazi or something.

Harry Reid was terrible, guys. In general, corrupt and mean. As the Democrats leader, single-handedly squandered the 2008 election.

Always had a bit of a soft spot for him because of abortion, but he went from near zero to massive hero real quick. Massive props to him. Love those quotes. McCain one is classic.

Yes, but by clinging to the cloture rule, he let Republicans freeze the chamber for months at a time.
