It's more Democratic than not, but it's a weird state. It knows which way the nation is swinging and swings along with it. Doesn't like to be left out.

2010 was a massive Republican wave and "fiscal conservative" Paul Hodes is a clown.

See the presidential elections of 2004, 2008, and 2012 (especially)...also see the senate elections of 2008 and 2014 for a trend line.
