Not a huge fan of either, but I voted Kennedy.

It's kinda hard to be defined as a good or bad President when you were in office for about 2 and half years. What Kennedy did in office was a mixed bag though.

Eisenhower.

I voted Kennedy, though both are overrated.

Kennedy solely for the space program, as both had horrible foreign policies.

Eisenhower, for the "military industrial complex" address and the Interstate Highway System.

Prefer that my parents and grandparents not be rendered dead or sterile by nuclear war so as to prevent my birth, so Eisenhower.

Please name one reason why JFK should be admired more than Eisenhower by Democrats. You realize JFK cut taxes, while Eisenhower had top tax rates above 90%, right?
He was assassinated.

I'll give credit to JFK on one count: he learnt from his mistakes in office. After screwing up big time in Bay of Pigs he took the rap like a statesman and modified his behaviour by relying less on the Very Serious hacks of the Pentagon and the increasingly out of control CIA. Eisenhower, by and large, let the CIA run riot - and most frightening of all, allowed the nuclear arsenal to be wrested from civilian control and into the clutches of psychopaths like Curtis LeMay. I beleive that Eisenhower was definitely a more moral person than Kennedy (who really was a bit of a twerp) but I don't consider him as 'good' a President.

One thing that's often forgotten about Eisenhower is his administration's role in Guatemala.

Ike was obviously terrible but he at least didn't try to start a nuclear war to prove he was tough on communism

LOL at the Democrats praising Ike for not completely dismantling something as ingrained as the New Deal when they would have been calling him an oblivious corporatist had they been around in the '50s.

Anyway, obviously Eisenhower, who was the best President of the Twentieth Century.  Yeah, I said it.

The CMC would have played out whoever had been in charge.

it's not like Ike didn't do the same things that would anger a left-winger about JFK... inaction on Southern US apartheid, escalated US intervention in Vietnam, backed the Iranian coup...

and, in retrospect, the interstate highway system should not be celebrated.
