If the LP became a major party right now, whom of both parties would shed their current label and switch to the newly powerful Libertarian Party?

Justin Amash, maybe? He seems pretty close to the Ron Paul crowd.

Libertarians would never be a major party with the way they are right now. But imagining a bigger more inclusive libertarian party, I think Amash, Massie, both Pauls, Duncan, and some of the other Republicans would join.

I would join a libertarian movement if war broke out against fascists.  Otherwise Id be unaffiliated.  Because on econ issues, they are so one sided and wanna worship precious metals.

Well, as in that case either Republicans or the Democrats would no longer be a major party (constitutionally, only two major parties are allowed in the US Smiley - yes, I mean it Smiley ) - there would have to be many. Of course depending on those who switch, the ideology of the Libertarian party mainstream would change. Probably, at least 99% of the Libertarians at that point would not support policies you consider Libertarian Smiley In fact, if that happens the word Libertarian would completely change its meaning.
