Fast Forward: 2024
Last two elections

Hillary Clinton/ Tim Kaine 347 Electoral Votes 52% Popular Vote
Jeb Bush/ Rick Perry 191

2020
Hillary Clinton/ Tim Kaine

Hillary Clinton/Tim Kaine 388 Electoral Votes
Tom Cotton/Ted Cruz150 Electoral Votes

2024: Julian Castro is nominated as the Democratic nominee to face Tom Cotton in the November 2024 election. He selects Cory Booker as his running mate. Castro and Booker are both tragically assassinated by members of the John Birch society at a campaign rally in San Antonio Texas two weeks before the election . This creates absolute havoc within the DNC, as they must come up with a last minute ticket of candidates. Due to the fear of safety no major figures in the party wish to stand. Congresswomen Martha Coakley who narrowly won MA-7 by less than a thousand votes is the only one willing to stand for election. The Castro/Booker ticket had a 30 point lead over the Cotton/Pence ticket and the new Democratic nominee would have been essentially handed the presidency as the Cotton/Pence ticket made some unrecoverable gaffes.
As President Senator Cotton has vowed to:

Ban Condoms
Withdraw from the UN, NATO, GATT, WTO and all international organizations
Ban Gay marriage and civil unions and appoint Supreme Courth Justices that would do so
Overturn Roe v Wade and ban abortion under all circumstances
Deport all illegal immigrants and descendants of illegal immigrants and close all immigration
Eliminate the departments of Education, Energy, Health and Human Services, Veterans Affairs, Labour, Agriculture and Housing and Urban Development
National Stand your Ground laws
National Religious Freedom Bill that gives all business owners that right to discriminate against Gays or and minority religions that offend them
Eliminate universal healthcare system (passed in 2020)
Eliminate all federal funding for education
Eliminate and prosecute the leaders of Planned Parenthood
Full Scale Invasion of the Middle East to defeat Islam and bring Christianity and American values to the Middle East
Eliminate all entitlements like Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, Unemployment Insurance, Food Stamps
Initiate a War on Poverty labelling them as lazy and selfish individuals who do not believe in the American Dream
Eliminate all Market Regulations such as the resurrection of Glass-Stegall that was re-enacted in 2017, and allow America to be ruled by corporations
Repeal the Civil Rights and Voting Rights Acts
Ban Unions and Prosecute Union leaders and criminalize all who attempt to unionize
Abolish the Minimum Wage
Ban all form of contraception
Invade any country for American desire
Make a constitutional amendment making the United States a Christian nation and establish English as the official and only language in United States, effectively banning and criminalizing the use of any other
Latest Poll
Generic Democrat: 68%
Cotton Pence: 27%

Coakley choosses former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo to be her running mate. In the final days of the campaign she has an absolutely terrible performance in the final presidential debate, albeit refuses to campaign and meet and shake hands with voters in the cold, and has several embarrassing media interviews and statements. She already starts forming her presidential transition team and already begins to act as if she is the Presidential elect. She stated in a interview that she refuses to campaign because she believes that the election has been decided because who would in their right mind vote for the extremist Cotton?

However both candidates face negative net approval ratings and a majority of American voters do not want to vote
PPP poll
Coakley/ Cuomo 54%
Cotton/Pence 45%

And welcome to election night 2024
Today's election has attracted a record low turnout, as they believe that both candidates are unfit for the presidency due to exit. In an election that was supposed to be a landslide, the disappointing replacement for the Democrats has turned away many voters. CNN and multiple polls have shown both candidates now virtually tied.

It is now the top of the hour and we can now make our first projections

Looks like the GOP conservative vote is coming out in full force tonight as Tom Cotton will Carry the states of Kentucky, Indiana and South Carolina with 28 electoral votes
Vermont will go to the Congresswoman giving her 3 electoral votes.

It is now 8pm and we can now announce that Georgia, North Carolina and West Virginia will be won by Senator Cotton giving him a total of 64 electoral votes

We can now call Oklahoma, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama and Missouri for Senator Cotton
Illinois, Maryland, DC, and Delaware for the Democratic Canadiate
As of now Ohio, Florida, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Maine and Massachusetts are too close to call. Martha Coakley is very surprisingly trailing in her home state of Massachusetts.

News providers all agree this has to be one of the scariest elections in American history
Tom Cotton has just won Ohio.. a major disappointment for the democratic ticket as well as
Iowa
Colorado
Utah
Idaho
Montana
The Democrats have captured Minnesota
New York
New Mexico
Nevada
California
Oregon
Washington
and Hawaii
If asked what our prediction tonight would have been a month ago I don't think anybody would have seen this coming but we are painfully close to deciding this presidential race

This is not factual, Coakley would definitely go 527-11. Losing Massachusetts of course.

And...... it's gone
The Coakley/Cuomo ticket has just lost Massachusetts and thereby the Presidency. Which means Tom Cotton will become the 46th President of the United States!! Goodbye Condoms!
